Spring Sale and Workshop

Sustainable Gardening Workshops
Participants will have the opportunity to attend FREE workshops that teach homeowners how to plant native gardens that will attract and sustain pollinators like bees and monarch butterflies, make and use you own compost, decrease storm water runoff and save money by reducing water use and maintenance costs.




Rain Gardens & Rain Barrels

8:30-9 a.m.

Home Composting Workshop

9:15-9:45 a.m.

Native Plant Landscaping

10-10:45 a.m.

Native Wildflower Walk

11-11:45 a.m.

Sustainable Gardening Supplies for Sale
Home compost bins, rain barrels, and a variety of native plants will be for sale. All products are in limited quantities and are for sale on a first come, first served basis. 

Cash or check payment is preferred, but Visa, MasterCard, and American Express are accepted.

Experts on Hand to Give Advice
Parks and Land Use staff and UW-Extension Master Gardeners will be available to answer questions on natural landscaping, identifying plant samples, gardening tips, and provide the basics about home composting and using rain barrels.
