Shady Lane/Shady Nook is under construction. The roads are paved and restoration has been partially completed. Additional restoration will occur in 2025 to ensure germination.
Due to ongoing ditch restoration alongside Shady Lane and Shady Nook, we encourage homeowners to refrain from blowing or raking leaves into the ditch. Piling leaves in ditches will hinder restoration, delaying the project's closing. Currently, miscellaneous spot checks are scheduled for the spring of 2025. If the ditches cannot be stabilized, the contractor will have to bring in equipment and supplies to properly stabilize the ditches, which will cause some traffic impediments.
